Sotirios PAPADOPOULOS

designer

Sotirios Papadopoulos is an architect, artist and designer. He graduated in architecture at the I.U.A.V. (Venice, Italy), and then attented the Venice School of Fine Arts. He obtained as well a Master at USC Los Angeles (USA) in 1992.

He lives and works between Greece and Italy. Since 2000, he creates combinations of art and design that emphasize the fusion of artistic ideas. He is one of the main supporters of « Fragilism », a new way to preserve art and design. He operates in the field of digital painting, private and public building projects, industrial design, decoration, green design and besides, he works on several exhibitions.

After a long experience in Design, Architecture and Production Design in USA, returns to Europe starting to work in Milan, Paris, Athens, in the fields of Architecture and Industrial Design.

His work is part of private collections around the world. He teaches design in Verona (Italy), at the Fine Arts Academy.

Sotirios Papadopoulos is Lecturer in industrial design, on the occasion of the in-depth study of some corporate identities in lighting design.

This gives rise to the selection of a project by the student Giovanna Colapristi, project that the Prof. Sotirios Papadopolus oversaw and suggested to be included in the official collection of the company.
